Leadership Ascension Accepting

Applications for the Class of 2011

You’re invited to apply to Leadership Ascension!  Like similar programs nationwide, Leadership Ascension is designed to develop responsible and informed community leaders.  Recognized and emerging leaders in the community are selected to represent the diverse demographic of the Ascension Parish community.  The ten month program begins with a two-day retreat. From September to May, full day sessions devoted to such topics as Diversity, Education, Health Care and Government are held on the third Thursday of each month at various locations around the parish.  The program ends with a two-day closing retreat which concludes the class year.  The retreat allows classmates to review their experiences, share their thoughts on Ascension Parish and present class projects that are developed throughout the year.
